Dashboard lit up like a Christmas Tree after alignment and new tires
Hoping anyone can give me some feedback to provide to the tire shop tomorrow on where to start looking. Got new tires and an alignment this afternoon. When I got back in, I immediately had two lights on on my dash - messages on the console were low braking power and pre-collision system malfunction. Before I even got out of the parking lot, I also had a solid check engine light come on. I thought it wasn't out of the realm of possibility for this to be a dirty sensor as I was needing a wash.
Told the shop I'd see if it came out of it, similar to waiting for your tire sensors to reset, however, no dice. In addition, now I also have a message for headlight system malfunction (though the lights are working), and I noted my brakes are incredibly touchy, I feel like beyond just the difference in the fresh tires and their grip vs my recently removed set. For reference on that, the set I just removed was 5/32 and 6/32 around, could have squeezed more life out of them, but had bad wear on one that was causing it to lose 3-5 pounds a day, didn't want to deal with that for months on end.
