I currently have the HP 479 Colour Muti Function Laser Printer. The toner cartridges have become extremely expensive over the years and the LCD display is starting to go.

I’m trying to find a good more economical replacement that does duplex printing and scanning (one pass) extremely well. I was looking at the Epson 5880 but it seems it often jams and/or picks up two pages at once.

What are the best available options that offer very reliable and efficient duplex printing and scanning? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
