Obviously June is an unreliable narrator and has no problem manipulating facts and people to suit her needs. They’ve also decided to deviate heavily from the book but, do you think we’ll get any answers to Daisy’s origins (if there are any) or maybe it comes out later that June made the whole backstory up and she targeted/chose Daisy for a different reason. Maybe she is a kid who got out before the U.S was fully taken over by The Sons of Jacob and she was always going to be a way back in for Mayday?
