I have a Sauron addiction

When I've just started playing Realms in Exile Sauron was more like a force of nature for me. Of course he beats me, he is Sauron.

But Maglor campaign broke something in me. Once I've defeated him once, the rest of the games turned into an endless prep time for the big fight. But the second I destroy mordor the game becomes pointless. No vassal will oppose me, no empire will be able to defeat me. So I start another one.

This even influences my decisions on where to play, because I need to be in the traditional middle-earth region, not southern than umbar for the optimal balance. Eriador is too far away and is easily conquered by the mordor's hegemony, as I saw in my Ar-Adunaim run.

So, how do I deal with this crippling addiction? If I have no big battle with a superpower in the future the game feels empty and boring.
