Best way to restore original color?
New to restoring antique furniture but there are so many fun pieces in the Midwest I can’t stop buying off of marketplace! The desk front is a bit worse for wear and has paint/cup marks. I think it could benefit from sanding fully and applying mineral spirits to see where I’m starting but wanted to see if anyone had advice on how to best preserve the beautiful color of this desk and restoring the hardware.
