Not social media rich or “driving rented luxury car” rich
I mean genuinely financially comfortable in Mauritius in 2026.
At what monthly income do you personally look at someone and think: “yeah, they made it”?
And does being rich here mean salary only, or things like owning a house, no debt, investments, family money, multiple incomes, etc?
I feel like people underestimate how important appreciation is in relationships.
Yeah, a man should treat his girl well, but constantly responding with “as he should” to every thoughtful thing kinda removes the warmth from it all.
Most good men are not looking for applause. They just want to feel appreciated instead of feeling like everything they do is simply expected.
A genuine “thank you” or showing gratitude honestly keeps affection and effort alive way more than people realize.
