HP Thunderbolt G4 - Cold Start not working
Hello,
I have an HP ZBook 16 G11 and an HP Thunderbolt G4 docking station. I am encountering the following problem: the docking station (USB-C + power) is connected to the laptop, and when I boot it up, neither the external monitor nor the LAN connected to the G4 dock works.
The mouse and keyboard, however, do work. After logging in, if I unplug the docking cable and plug it back in, everything starts working. Another strange detail is that the Ethernet driver on my system is a Realtek, whereas on a comparison laptop, it is an Intel driver and in both cases, the LAN cable remains plugged into the docking station.
My IT department and I have run out of ideas, we have updated all drivers, updated the BIOS, updated the G4 firmware, and even deleted and reinstalled the drivers.
Do you have any suggestions or ideas?
