I am new to the fandom so idk if this has been discussed prior. But while watching the newest episode, Iguin talks about Coco as a seed that is sprouting and that made me think about the Silvertree seed.
It’s been bothering me why Iguin is so invested in Coco and made me wonder if she’s a final product of the silvertree experiments that were done on Qifrey.
If she did have a silvertree merged with her instead of as a parasite, the sap could be her blood. Of which we know blood mixed with sap makes magic extremely powerful.
The seed could have been planted in Coco when she received the story book. I don’t recall it being explained why Qifrey knew the story book was connected to the brimhats. Qifrey has said that he knew the plan for the silvertree experiments in chapter 40. So maybe that’s why he knew the story book wasn’t normal?
