I’ve been exhausted and had my am cortisol tested. It was 85 in a range of 140 to 535. Was told to retest and it came in at 86 so they did an ACTH and it was 0.6 in a range of 1.6-13.9. Was called several weeks ago and told I’d need another test but still waiting for that as it’s being scheduled at the hospital. I am just wondering if this is more likely to be adrenal or pituitary and if I have any reason to be worried at the long wait for whatever they’re testing next? I do have a pituitary microadenoma but it’s non functional and has been no problem for over a decade. I have annual MRIs and it doesn’t grow.
