In 2012, I was walking across a side street at about 7pm at night in August. I was hit at pelvis level dead on by a late model Buick while my friend saw the car, I didn't, and got mostly out of the way. The driver was accelerating on impact and I was thrown up onto the hood, thrown into the windshield, and thrown off. I wasn't expected to make it but here I am almost 14 years later. AMA.
