Are we seriously about to go through another run with a non-fighting/part-time champion, or is Jacob Fatu actually winning at Backlash?

I mean, what’s the logic here? The guy is literally on the cover of the PLE and might not even compete on the show? That just feels off. If you’re promoting him that heavily, especially front and center, fans are obviously going to expect him to have a major role—if not the main moment.

It just gives me that same frustrating vibe where things don’t fully connect. Either commit to him as a top guy and have him show up in a meaningful way, or don’t build expectations like this in the first place.

Right now it feels like we’re heading toward another situation where the spotlight is there, but the payoff might not be. Anyone else getting that feeling?

So what was the point of CM Punk losing the title? We’re back to the 2021-24 vortex.

Roman shows up, has a short feud here and there, wins with Bloodline interference, and disappears again for a while.

Since WrestleMania, every show has ended with the Bloodline. It’s an endless vortex.

The only explanation for Punk losing the title is to try to bring some life to SmackDown, which has been terrible—but even then, it looks like they’ll keep him on Raw since he still hasn’t appeared on SmackDown.
