Hello everyone!
At work, we recently switched from Premiere to Davinci. I used to use the equivalent of the Adjustment Layer a lot on Premiere, making macro changes to multiples images showing at the same time directly into my edit page.
Now, problem is: I want to put a blur effect on the top third of my overall image. When I change the size of my Adjustment Layer, it changes the size of the image and not the size of my Layer only. I don't find how to do it! Could someone please help me?
EDIT: To be clear:
I have a 16/9 timeline
I have two videos side to side at the same time
I want to be able to blur the top third of the final image.
I don't want to waste time and blur two times.
I would like to learn this technique to be much quicker in the future, just like in Premiere !
I would like this technique to work not only with blur, but with all FXs
