I've been trying to get an OB to take my period pain seriously since I was 11, I am nearly 22 now. A new symptom I've had in the past yearish is this near unbearable pain during any kind of bowel movement or digestion but it ONLY happens on my period. It's to the point I basically try to starve myself for two days (day before and on day one of my period) eating the bare minimum just because the pain is so bad (And this is ON TOP of insane period cramping). I won't be able to walk during this pain and it usually leave me bed ridden for a day or two. Sometimes it makes me throw up it will get intense. I've brought this up to my OB and she seems very unconcerned about it. Also my OB had prescribed a single ibuprofen pill with the strength of 5 that she told me to take starting two days before my period and then during it as well. I just dont want this to do lasting damage to my kidneys or gut lining so I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible. I typically still end up taking it though since its the only thing that helps.

Has anyone experienced similar pains? Are there any home remedies that might alleviate my pain that I could try in the meantime of finding someone else. It's becoming hard to bear, I'm at the point of nearly demanding a hysterectomy because I can't take this every month of my life.
