As mentioned in the title I'm wondering if the Vertuo Up can brew the old Alto Intenso and Alto Dolce (414ml), i.e. does the machine recognize the barcodes? I still have a couple of sleeves of these so it's something to take into account when deciding whether or not to upgrade.

On the Nespresso website the "new" smaller Altos and the Carafe are listed as compatible but understandably there's no mention of the discontinued larger Altos. So I'm looking for someone with real-life experience.
