Hey folks, hoping someone may have a suggestion I haven't tried yet.

My dad passed away a while ago and I'm finally getting around to his old PC. Problem is I've tried every password I know and none of them are working. I'm only wanting to wipe it at this stage so it can be given to someone else (don't need anything that would be saved on it).

I've tried "command + S" using two non original keyboards and got absolutely nothing but usual log-in screen.

Is my only option to remove the HD? Or is there another key combination or trick I can try?

I also dont have the OS CD but know if I got it I could theoretically boot from a USB, just not sure it'll play nice without original keyboard.
