Hairdresser recommendations for 2B/2C hair
Hi everyone!
I’m looking for recommendations for a hairdresser in Cape Town and surrounds who is good with wavy/curly hair and dry cutting
My hair is:
-around shoulder to chest length
-naturally 2B/2C wavy with some loose curlier pieces underneath
-medium/high density
-layered from an old Korean-style 2-in-1 cut that’s now grown out
I’m looking for someone who understands:
-natural texture
-dry cutting / curl-friendly cutting
-softer Korean/Japanese-inspired layering
-keeping movement without over-thinning
What I want:
-keep some length (or possibly go closer to shoulder length)
-blend the shorter underlayer into the rest of my hair
-soft butterfly/hush-cut style layers
-face framing pieces
-more shape and curl definition without losing fullness
I’ve had bad experiences with stylists thinning my hair too much, so I’d really love someone who works with natural waves instead of trying to straighten everything or give me a generic haircut 😭
