I had a dream about a year ago when a giant nail pierced my hand and went fully through. After pulling it out there was a hole with an opening about the width of a penny that would could see through to the other side. When I woke up I could feel the hole the entire day. It drove me nuts. I kept trying to make sure I didn’t get anything inside of it, kept feeling my palm to make sure it wasn’t actually there, and even wondering if I should go to an urgent care to get it checked. I only remember this all so vividly because whenever I have a body horror adjacent dream I’ll wake up with the same feeling in my hand. Sometimes if I think about it too long I can make myself feel it as well.
