I just started the active Passiv challenge and picked Eternatus as the starter because I just caught him in my last run. I quickly realized that the Neutralizing Gas Passiv it has stops all other abilities and passivs so it is as if I play a regular classic run. So just for everyone who cares: if you do the Active Passive challenge and have trouble you can bring a neutralizing gas pokemon and just ignore all passivs and abilities while the pikemon is on the field.
