I just found out about something pretty frustrating and wanted to share so other people do not lose points the same way. I did full contribution in Obsidian Acquisition Operation, then left a bit earlier to go to BG. I still received the event performance rewards by mail, so from my side it looked like everything counted. But I got 0 Activity Points and my Regional Contribution Certificate was consumed as well. I contacted support and they said because I teleported outside the event area before the rewards were granted, the rewards were sent by mail, but receiving them by mail does not grant Activity Points. Honestly this feels really unfair and confusing. If the game gives you the event rewards by mail and consume regional contribution certificate, it feels like your participation was accepted. There is no clear warning that leaving the event area before the final reward calculation means you lose Activity Points completely.
This should either be fixed or clearly stated in-game. A lot of people care about Activity Points, especially for guild ranking/rewards, and it is easy to lose them without knowing this rule
