Known Issues:

  • Firmware flash of the Formula V3 can sometimes fail when its flashed on CS DD or new Podium DD which requires a manual re-flash of the firmware to get the wheel recognized again.
  • On DD1/DD2 the Formula V3 is sometimes not recognized after boot and DD1/DD2 OLED is showing "WARNING Steering Wheel not supported! Please update the Firmware" error message.
    • Restarting the Base gets the wheel recognized again.
  • The Display of the Formula V3 has delay on DD1/DD2 and CSL DD/GT DD Pro, resulting in errors refreshing ITM values properly and showing incorrect Tuning Menu texts. When staying on a Tuning Menu settings page the left Setup row also disappears after some time.
  • FunkySwitch rotary inputs of the Formula V3 are missed in the Tuning Menu when rotating fast.
  • Some message screens of the Formula V3 sometimes get stuck and dont clear until Tuning Menu was manually opened.
  • Several ITM features like setting a favorite page or auto-page-switch function is not working yet on the Formula V3.
  • The FFB gets lost after hotswapping the wheel while being in game which requires a game restart to get FFB working again on ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases.
  • The Tuning Menu of the Bentley GT3 wheel is not working properly on ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases.
  • The FunkySwitch rotational inputs of the BME are not registered properly on ClubSport DD and Podium DD Bases.
  • The telemetry data and LEDs can be delayed which can cause a freeze of the Display data and LEDs.
  • The Button LEDs reset to pre-defined default colors when starting the App instead of keeping user-specified LED colors.
  • The RevStripe toggle always resets back to ON after restarting the App.
  • The loading of profiles is unreliable and sometimes a profile does not get loaded properly.
    • A full rework of the game profile management is planned to fix all kind of profile related issues.
  • The communication between the App and the Base is sometimes not working so Tuning Menu changes made in the App are not sent to the Base.
  • The Tuning Menu settings are sometimes not saved and restored after a restart of the App.
  • The App collects several GB large files of log data when USB pedals are used.
    • Until the issue is fixed with a future App update, customers should delete the log files from time to time manually.
  • Some inputs like clutch paddle input or FunkySwitch rotary inputs are slow/delayed in the App.
    • This is just a visual issue of the App, the actual input is not affected.
  • When entering a game menu while driving it can happen in some games that the FFB effect doesn't get canceled which results in the wheel turning to one side.
    • This got fixed for the Podium DD some time ago but can still happen on the CSL DD. We have reworked the communication protocols between the base and the motor and are in advanced testing to apply the fix for the CSL DD with an upcoming special driver release.
  • Natural friction (NFR) can start to feel weird after some time of driving and can cause shaking / oscillations.
    • In case you experience issues with NFR, we suggest to turn it OFF for now.
    • This got fixed for the Podium DD some time ago but can still happen on the CSL DD. We have reworked the communication protocols between the base and the motor and are in advanced testing to apply the fix for the CSL DD with an upcoming special driver release

With yesterday's announcement including the addition of FullForce for the CSL DD and GT DD Pro in the future, we are seeing some people learning about FullForce for the first time. We've got an Explorer article that helps explain what exactly FullForce is and how it can add another level to your driving experience.

Currently, FullForce is available on the ClubSport DD, DD+, and our new Podium DD.

The titles that currently have FullForce support are: iRacing, Gran Turismo 7, Assetto Corsa EVO, and Project Motor Racing. We are constantly working with various developers to bring FullForce to more titles.

Hello r/Fanatec!

Here is an overview of the announcements covered in today's Special Event video. You can watch the full video here!

The team hosted their first AMA earlier today! You can find all the questions and answers here!

ClubSport Formula V3 - Available Now!

https://preview.redd.it/lirzfuf46zxg1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=fe2d8afc224d6141f1e110e5303bcb61ed1037bf

Pricing:

  • US: $349.99 USD - CA: $499.99 CAD - €349.95 EUR - $599.90 AUD - ¥58,000

We’ve added some important improvements to our iconic Formula wheel, which has been part of our product range for almost 15 years. The diameter is approximately 20 mm wider at 290 mm, with adjustments to the layout to ensure optimal input-reach. The larger display supports Intelligent Telemetry Mode, so you can cycle through layouts like lap times, deltas, and tire data.

Controls have been refined throughout. The thumb rotary dials now have more resistance and include a push button, and the middle rotary is also a 12-position switch. A second FunkySwitch replaces the previous analog stick, grips are now user-replaceable, and it features many small refinements that make this wheel more enjoyable, and more usable across a broader range of race cars.

Fanatec Wheel Hub - Available now!

https://preview.redd.it/81q1wr2g6zxg1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=974b32ce8ae82252cd1a2b98f83d1729b0b23bda

Pricing:

  • US: $99.99 USD - CA: $144.99 CAD - EU: €99.95 EUR - AU: $209.90 AUD - JP: ¥20,000 JPY

Our Hubs have always offered a solution for mounting third-party wheels, since the original ClubSport Universal Hub in 2014. But the Fanatec Wheel Hub is the first product designed specifically for this purpose. We’re making it easier to build the setup that’s right for you.

It’s our most compact Hub featuring 6 x 70 mm and 6 x 50.8 mm mounting patterns. We’re also working with selected steering wheel partners to make this the standard Fanatec-compatible option on their side.

The Wheel Hub is launch at our original QR2 Wheel-Side price, and in turn we have permanently dropped the price of the QR2 Wheel-Side.

QR2 Wheel Side Pricing:

  • US: $89.99 USD - CA: $129.99 CAD - EU: €89.95 EUR - AU: $169.90 AUD - JP: ¥15,800 JPY

Podium Pedals Pricing Information

We’re excited to say that Podium Pedals will launch at 699.95 EUR – the same price for both the 3-pedal set and the 2-pedal Formula version with carbon components. This amazing price was only possible through a huge effort from the development teams.

Pricing:

  • US: $699.99 USD - CA: $1,099.99 CAD - EU: €699.95 EUR - AU: $1,150.00 AUD - JP: ¥105,000 JPY

For pre-order dates: Preparing for mass production introduced some unexpected hurdles, but we’re very close now and we appreciate your patience. Stay tuned for more info.

The Mounting Plate and Heel Rest are sold separately. Many high-end cockpits do not need the plate. Offering this component separately allows us to deliver the pedals at a lower price without compromising on the quality of the mounting plate – it’s excellent.

Pricing per the AMA: $199.99 USD for the Mounting Plate and Heel Rest.

All the current info on the Podium Pedals can be found here.

Performance Updates

We are excited to share that through previous testing, we discovered there was more headroom possible in both the ClubSport DD and the DD+ bases, even with the existing PSUs.
We will be providing a free driver update next week with firmware that will change the ClubSport DD from 12 Nm to 15 Nm, and the ClubSport DD+ from 15 Nm to 18 Nm holding torque!

In the next few months, we will be bringing FullForce Technology to the CSL DD and GT DD Pro bases for free! You can learn more about FullForce and what it can offer here.

Thank you so much for all of your support. The team has even more exciting things cooking currently, and we can't wait to share them with you when the time comes. We sincerely appreciate all the feedback you've been sharing and will continue to provide updates on upcoming products when possible.

You asked, we answered: XENEON EDGE supports custom widgets! 🥳

For those not in the know...

❓ What IS the XENEON EDGE?

>The XENEON EDGE is more than a small display beside your main monitor. It can act as a customizable dashboard for system stats, media controls, and everyday shortcuts. Widgets are what make that possible.

Widgets let you shape the XENEON EDGE around the information and controls you actually use. You can keep hardware stats in view, manage media playback, or add a clock that fits your setup.

❓ What Are Widgets on the XENEON EDGE?

>Widgets are compact apps that appear on the XENEON EDGE while iCUE is running. Each one either shows a specific piece of information or gives you quick access to a function, whether that's sensor data, a clock, media controls, or web content. You manage them through iCUE, where you choose which widgets appear, adjust how they look, and arrange them on screen.

Dive into our Explorer Articles to learn more about our new widgets⬇️
