just curious as I noticed it at my store, there’s someone staring at multiple iPads and walking around but I wonder why? is it a new thing? the amount of iPads (just 4) but still feels odd

Edit - Thank you for the answers and I didn't realize it was all that on ipads but yes, there's two pads by pickup of drinks, one person walking around with an Ipad, another by the ovens with an ipad and then the ipads by checkout. I thought I was going crazy. It did seem new to me and the people walking with ipads appeared to be doing something on it
