What if the entire world of FROM is structured like a spider web, not just metaphorically, but literally as a multidimensional system?

At the center of the web lies the town, the point where everything converges and where the danger is most concentrated. No matter where people come from, they are all drawn inward, as if something is pulling them to the same central node.

But the web isn’t flat.

Each layer of the web represents a different space-time.

The earliest arrivals, like Miranda and Victor, exist on one layer. The Matthews family exists on another. These layers don’t fully overlap, but they are connected, stacked like parallel strands within the same structure. Everyone is trapped on their own level of the web, experiencing a version of the same place, but at different points in time.

The circular threads of the web represent the loops, the reason no one can escape. No matter how far you go, you are still moving along the same enclosed pattern.

But then there are the transversal threads.

These are the hidden pathways, the connections between layers.

And Julie might be the only one who can use them.

As a story walker, she does not just move through space, she moves across the structure itself, jumping from one layer of the web to another. While everyone else is stuck on a single strand, she can shift between timelines and realities.

Which means she is not just part of the system.

She can navigate it.

This also reframes what we have already seen.

When Boyd and Sara are inside the tent and suddenly get displaced, it does not feel like normal movement. It is as if something is pulling them across the web, relocating them instantly from one point to another, like prey being repositioned.

And then there is that presence, the one that resembles a spider.

If that is not a coincidence, then the web is not random.

It is controlled.

Something is at the center, something that built the structure, maintains it, and maybe even feeds on it. The creatures could be extensions of it, or the result of those who were caught in the web for too long.

If all of this is true, then the town is not just a trap.

It is an ecosystem.

A layered, living system built around cycles, control, and containment.

And Julie?

She might be the only one who can move between the threads and maybe the only one who can finally break them.
