I’m taking CFA Level I in May and wanted to ask for people’s experience with UWorld mock exams.

For context, about a week ago I took a CFAI Learning Ecosystem mock session and scored around 70%. Today I took a UWorld mock and scored around 60%.

The UWorld mock felt noticeably harder than the CFAI mock. It felt much more calculation-heavy, more detailed, and more trap-based. I

I’m currently trying to use my final week efficiently, so I’m not just asking whether UWorld is “harder.”

For those who used UWorld mocks before Level I:

1. Did you find UWorld mocks harder than CFAI mocks?
2. Were UWorld mocks representative of the actual exam?
3. If you were scoring low 60s on UWorld close to exam day, how did that translate on exam day?
4. In the final week, would you focus more on:
   • weak areas exposed by the UWorld mock, especially calculation-heavy/trap-style questions, or
   • weak areas from the CFAI official mock, since those may be more aligned with the real exam?
