I have searched Kochi subreddit for options for cataract surgery (for my parent) and found that it cost around 37k last year. But as I went to hospitals this week, it ranges from 40k (LF Angamaly - Keyhole surgery) Femto laser treatment at Giridhar (1.35 lakh) , Chaitanya (laser 90k) . Does anyone have parents or themselves undergoing the treatments in the above hospitals? How was their experience? Is laser that effective?
