I work front of house at a padel facility where all staff wear branded uniforms, but my employer only provides sizes up to a 14 and I’m a size 18. They’ve said they won’t order anything larger and have told me to just wear plain clothes instead.
I feel really singled out and humiliated because everyone else looks part of the team and I don’t. Being front of house, presentation is part of the role, which makes it feel even worse.
I’m wondering if I have any rights here, or if this could be considered discrimination or unfair treatment? Has anyone dealt with something similar or know where I stand?
Any advice would be appreciated.
