Hi there! We’re planning to visit Tenerife during the first week of June and we’d really like to hike to the summit of Teide. Since we booked everything too late, and the only permit slots still available are from 18:00–22:00, which means we wouldn’t be able to take the cable car back down.

I know it’s possible to descend via the PNT 07 trail, but we would probably end up doing part of it at night. Has anyone here done this before? If so, how difficult is it really? Is it safe or easy to follow in the dark?
