Is it possible to change the system on a Kyocera KFY42?
I bought this phone earlier this year and honestly, I really like it. But there are several things about the system that feel uncomfortable or just don't look good to me.
For example, since I installed an app to type faster, pressing any number on the home screen no longer opens the phone app. Instead, it opens some kind of blank page, like notes. Also, finding some options is very confusing, and almost everything that is not part of the original phone system needs a cursor to use... Not to mention all the hidden and almost inaccessible settings.
I know you can install a launcher, but navigation is still cursor-based (at least in my experience), and personally I don't really like that.
So my question is: even if WhatsApp cannot work fully natively (using keypad navigation instead of a cursor), is it possible to change the system to something more compatible with the physical keyboard and more friendly with apps like WhatsApp?
That is literally what I’m looking for.
