4/25 had my first FET. “Perfect” lining, euploid embryo.
I have PCOS. Did two egg retrievals and got 5 euploid and 3 more mosaics.
I have insulin resistant PCOS and I have a 37.1 BMI at the moment. Prior to IVF while still trying to TI, we discovered my PCOS and after bloodwork I got put on a GLP-1 and I lost 30 ish pounds in a couple months. Then I realized, because my former primary care doctor was a joke, I shouldn’t be taking a GLP-1 while TTC. So I stopped and with IVF, the pounds crept back on. I am pretty active and do over 8,000 steps a day and eat mostly well but that’s just how my body always has been. All this to say I know BMI can be a factor I guess so how worried should I be? Should I postpone next steps and get back on a GLP-1 to lose weight before another transfer?
Prior to IVF and still doing TI w/ letrozole, I advocated to get a ureaplasma and biopsy. It came back positive and did multiple rounds of doxy. Retested and it was clear. Partner did rounds and retested as well.
So, my consultation with my doctor is today to go over next steps. She briefly mentioned on the phone the day we got the news of our failed FET that she wants to do bloodwork and another biopsy. So I guess Endometritis can come back? Cool. Even with adding the women’s probiotics they suggested.
Below are my “notes” of what I want to discuss with her. They are brief and just helpful reminders of what to ask about.
What am I missing? Thank you.
