Best Texas teacher certification program for a career switch into teaching (math interest)?
Hello! I’m planning a career change into teaching in Texas and deciding between Teachworthy, Texas Teachers of Tomorrow, and iTeach Texas. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, with experience in business and tech.
I’m especially interested in teaching math at the middle school level, and potentially high school later on. I’m looking for a program that provides strong structure, guidance, and support as I transition into the classroom and learn how schools operate in practice.
From what I understand, all three are TEA-approved, but I’m trying to figure out which one is the best fit for someone transitioning into education and wanting to become truly classroom-ready.
Would really appreciate honest experiences or recommendations on which program fits this path best.
