Frank is truly a tragic character, he is a very serious stoic father. He tried to raise his kids in the ways he viewed was right but ultimately ended yo disappointed in both of them for seperate reasons. Gai is too soft and Silvia is too much like her mother. He rarely expresses any sort of emotions besides on his marraige anniversary where he tends to feel rage and sadness because of her.

She wanted to pursue her exploration instead of settling down with him and the 2 kids they had, so after 1 night she disappeared leaving behind a note that frank would find. Frank HATES her, or at least that’s what he deludes himself into believing. He tries to convince silvia and gai that she never even existed and that their mother is dead. But deep down in his stone heart, he just wants to be held by someone like her again, to be loved by someone like her again, to feel strong emotions again. But he won’t ever admit to this, because he is strong and vulnerability is weak.

Lazuli is poorly written(IN MY OPINION) and I love to slander her but I just kind of want to get my opinions all written down in one concise way just to reason with myself.

My memory of everything is a bit rusty so if you want to make any corrections feel free to do so, I love to hate but I want to hate properly.

Lazuli is the perfect example of an abuser who pretty much gets little to no consequences throughout the story. While I do understand her reasoning I just really don’t like the fact that she can just so easily get away with beating someone she loves because of past trauma. Her father is a scumbag, we ALL know this but this doesn’t give her any sort of right to beat on speed. Speed has been depicted as injured heavily by her covered in bandages and such over no fault of his own. The dynamic between the 2 is toxic and should be an example of what a relationship SHOULDN’T be and fault of the writing Speed and everyone else around him are okay with this??

This is obviously a fault of the writing but it essentially enablers her abuse by letting her get away with it because it’s “funny” or “cute” which is a horrible thing to even think. It took me maturing to realize that the jokes ring hollow and to genuinely feel bad for this fictional electric dog even if he is “OP”. It ultimately hurts lazuli as a character because this being a joke makes her less sympathetic as a character, if she occasionally hit him, while still bad, I feel like it would be better for her character arc. This leads me to their relationship at the end.

LAZULI NEEDED TO HEAL FROM HER TRAUMA BEFORE BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH SPEED OR EVEN IN GENERAL. I think the stuff she did was let off TOO easy, not saying that her apology was bad I think that was a good step but I think she should have taken the necessary steps to become a better partner before even considering a relationship with him.

Ultimately I don’t like lazuli and think she is a horrid example of someone with avoidant attachment.

Sorry if this is all over the place I just wanted to get this out there, you all are subject to like her if you want thats not my choice

TLDR//: Glaceon girl is bad because her abuse of jolteon boy is played for laughs and I know damn sure if the roles were reversed it would be more panned.

The peg leg was just a fun choice I decided to make, instead of the robotic leg she has I think?
