becoming a catholic

hello!

ive recently felt a draw in my life to religion, and a lot of my friends are catholic, my dad was baptised greek orthodox but was not raised religious- nor was i or my entire family. my grandparents on my mother's side are religious, not sure if they're christians or catholics.

tbh i have zero clue about religion and was hoping on gaining guidence, first steps, things i should look into or avoid. what started this whole idea was my friend mentioning the "corporal and spiritual works of mercy." i think there's a lot of things happening in my life where i feel religion would be able to help ?

not ready for the skills exam

ive been taking a CNA course through my local community college once a week, and my final is coming up as well at the NATCEPs. for the necessary skills, it feels like we're skimming over them, and essentially do not practice anything, just brush over the necessities. is anyone elses experience like this?

i really want to work as a CNA, but with my final coming up it really just feels like im winging it. for the questions and multiple choice, i am feeling a lot more confident since a lot of it seems like common sense. im so worried for the skills portion!

how did u guys prepare for the skills, especially if it was last minute? i wish i took more time to review but it's too late for that :/

hi! ive been tracking/in a deficit pretty consistently since january, and now that i am 2 pounds from my goal weight i'm not really sure how to maintain it. ive been eating around 12-1500 calories daily and keep dinner as my biggest meal, so usually 300-400 on breakfast/lunch and then whatever is left on my last meal. i was binging a lot prior to tracking so im worried about falling back into a crazy binge cycle. i read some posts online and my best bet seems to be to increase calories little by little until ive reached my maintance calories while also sticking to new habits ive formed throughout the last few months of tracking. to be honest i enjoy tracking as it gives me a really strong sense of control, but def dont wanna do this for too long as its time consuming, and i also want to be able to eat like a normal thinking person (for ex: stopping when im full, and being more intuitive in general). any advice would be appreciated

my dinner tonight consisted of: salmon fillet, followed by chicken liver/heart, followed by ground beef with some arugula and green beans on side. i genuinely love eating meat so much, i do not go out of my way to eat carnivore as i do eat a good amount of low carb veggies. yes my CHOL may be concerning, but damn it leave my meat and i alone!
