Hello everybody, I’m trying to find the name of a 1980s TV movie (likely 1980–1993). Color, slow-burn and creepy, TV movie production quality. A woman lives alone (or becomes alone) on an isolated farm. A man — possibly an ex-partner or estranged husband — has left her. Anyone who comes to the property ends up dead, with the woman strongly implied as the killer but never explicitly shown. The killer’s POV involves a hand scraping along the outside of barn/house walls with a metal rod/ gardening tool with a long pole and only eyes visible peering through slits of the barn structure before victims die. The man receives a phone call from her saying she loves him and to come home. He returns, goes to the barn, picks up a shovel (or similar tool), and says something resigned like “I always have to clean up and/or is this all?”A soft female voice is heard singing or laughing quietly off-screen as the film ends. The woman had short brown or blonde hair, possibly a turtleneck in the final act, possibly slightly crooked teeth — likely a character actress rather than a major star. Tone similar to Robert Altman’s Images (1972). Not Buried Alive, White of the Eye, or The Caller.*
