Hello I'm a new business owner/ designer and am in the middle of a full renovation of a condo. My electrician has been acting strange to say the least, I have known him personally for many years I know he is certified ect ect has been working in the field for 30 plus years. He is near retirement and came into this job for me as a favor and all was fine in the beginning. He has now had several conflicts with my home owner which I have tried to resolve but the circumstances behind them seem unusual to say the least.

I'm semi knowledgable and am a licensed designer have provided him with the electrical plan and lighting layout plan but have left him in charge of upgrading the breaker box and any other required code updates that are needed. The condo had electrical from roughly 2000 and had now been completely gutted a new box put in and about half the lighting and plugs run.

The issue has come up when we got to bathrooms and kitchen GFI outlets and switches.

We have a brand new breaker box which I believe has 4 GFI enabled breakers installed so far.

I have now been told by homeowner he has installed 8 boxes next to the breaker box for what he is saying will be seperate GFI only boxes for the suite. I have also seen he has purchased some GFI plugs not yet installed.

What is happening here?? Any information is greatly appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This is. 2 bedroom 1100 sqft condo this panel is located inside the second bedroom behind the door swing so semi concealed for the most part but the plugs beside it will not be inclosed as far as I understand.
