I finally got to see a loose pink diamond in person and it looked way more subtle than I expected under normal lighting. Like it was pretty, just not that loud pink I had in my head. Now I am stuck on the setting choice because I keep hearing different opinions. Some people say a white metal makes it look cleaner, others say warmer metal makes the pink look richer. I also tried holding it over a plain white paper and then over my hand and it looked totally different. I just want it to read as pink without looking like a costume ring, if that makes sense.

I’m planning to propose soon and really want to get her an emerald green engagement ring. I’d love some suggestions on styles or places to look that offer good quality. Any advice on what works well or what to avoid would be super helpful! Thanks in advance for your tips
