What is the best way to explore Lombok? We plan to do the Gilis then move to the Rinjani National Park, then to Mandalika.

On the Gilis, transport is not needed for us since we can either walk or take a bike. But of course going around the mainland require a proper transport.

Scooter is definitely not for us since none of us can ride a scooter. Private driver is an option, but not the cheapest. We're thinking to rent a car and drive around the island by ourselves. Would it be recommended? How does the traffic there look like, as well as the road and the terrain (wide/narrow roads, steep or flat, etc)?

Thanks for the insight!

Hi, we're planning to go to Indonesia on June. Bali was of course first come to mind, but some people that we know recommended to avoid it because of the trash. Labuan Bajo is out of our list since a friend has been there twice.

Is there any other destinations in Indonesia that has both mountains (for hiking) and nice beaches? Would it be recommended to go with a travel guide or arrange stuff by ourselves? Thanks 😄

I was deep cleaning. Suddenly my Miele stopped working. I checked the dust container and the dust was already above the max sign. I cleaned the container as well as the filters. Also unplugged it and let the vacuum cooled off for 20 minutes.

Tried it again, it worked. But then it suddenly stopped not even 5 minutes after being turned on. The dust container and filters however were still clean. But the machine became really hot. I checked the hose, wand, floor head, cyclone unit. Nothing is blocked. Let it cooled off again. Turned it on again. It stopped again after a short time.

Did I just damage my vacuum? Is there a way to fix it?

Edit: the vacuum is Miele Boost CX1 Allergy to be exact.
