Just scheduled my colonoscopy - so nervous!
I got on the schedule for a colonoscopy surprisngly easily, as I discovered my grandma developed colon cancer in her early 40’s (I’m 38). I’ve also been having some upper abdominal pain on the right side so the GI suggested an endoscopy as well as since they’re already putting me under.
I have health anxiety and I’m suddenly so nervous about doing these tests and finding cancer or something serious. I’m actually shaking as I type this out. Any words of reassurance or guidance, especially for those who’ve had both tests done at the same time?
