1 dead, 1 in hospital after shooting outside Calgary grocery store
A man is dead, and another is fighting for his life in hospital after a shooting in the parking lot of a northeast Calgary grocery store on Monday night.
Emergency crews were called to the parking lot of the North Hill Co-op on 16 Avenue NE around 7:50 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to hospital in life-threatening condition, and one of the men has since died.
