For years, I've been trying to track down a couple of songs that I've always wanted to find (or find again, in one case). One of them is a song from Minneapolis that was probably only played on local radio (Radio K) in the late '90s and the other one is from, I think, a European band (I realize that is uselessly vague). If anyone knows these songs and/or how to acquire them, I would be eternally grateful. I'll explain as well as I can:

First song--This is by a band called The Minx and the title has the word "family" in it. It was frequently played on Radio K in the Twin Cities and I saw them open for Magnetic Fields at a now-defunct venue called the Foxfire in 1998. The existence of that show and band are evident online (including here) but I could never find a recording of any Minx songs, and I asked Radio K if they had a demo that they would be willing to share but never heard back.

Second song--I can't describe this very well, but I had an album that I most likely would have initially found or read about through an online update (maybe Darla or Aquarius), Magnet magazine, or in person at a record store, which could have been Other Music, Kim's, Let It Be in Minneapolis, or Amoeba/Rasputin in the Bay Area. I think the band was European, possibly German (I remember listening to them and Pelzig at the same time), and I swear the chorus to the long had a lyric that either was or sounded exactly like "a generation of assholes and whores." Sadly, I can't describe it any better than that.

Thanks in advance for any help! I know this is probably a long shot but I've run out of alternative (no pun intended) places to look.
