I've recently purchased a new place and I have solid panel shutters on the inside of my bedroom windows, in place of curtains or a blind.
I really like the shutters as they do a great job of blocking out light when sleeping. However, they do an equally great job of blocking any airflow too.
I'm looking for solutions to my ventilation issues that won't impact the amount of light coming into the room. Essentially, I want a way to get air from the open window behind the shutters into the bedroom whilst the shutters are closed.
When the shutters are closed, there's about 50cm of windowsill between the back of the shutters and the window. The windowsill is also about 75cm from the ground.
I've tried consulting Google but I think my problem is slightly too niche and I'm unsure what other ventilation solutions would be a good fit for my situation.
Budget is not an issue, I'm open to all ideas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
