UCL vs Southampton Biomedical Engineering w/ Foundation Year
Hi!! I’m a year 13 student and I’m trying to pick my firm and insurance choice right now! I’m trying to figure out whether I prefer UCL or Southampton right now.
I do very much prefer the course in Southampton, especially with the fact that the course here is with the EEE school which is amazing. But I feel like living here would get super boring in comparison to UCL, so I did have some questions!!
What is living in Southampton like? What are the accommodation experiences like? I’m living here for 5-6 years so I don’t want to suffer through them
What’s the teaching here like? I won’t lie I got some dodgy answers from when I asked LOL
I saw the facilities look excellent, is there anything else I should know about them!
What’s the foundation year like?
