Hi everyone! I’ve been spending a lot of time in the designer lately trying to master the nuances of the recent armor material updates. I wanted to see just how much efficiency I could squeeze out of a highly angled frontal plate.

In this current hull design, I’m testing a 100mm plate sloped at 65 degrees. The resulting effective RHA thickness in the X-ray view is looking incredibly solid against high-velocity kinetic rounds. It’s really satisfying to see the material properties and geometry actually working together to boost protection without adding massive amounts of weight.

How are you all adjusting your designs with these updates? Are you leaning into extreme angles to keep your tanks mobile, or are you still relying on thick, flat slabs of steel for that 'heavy tank' feel?
