I stripped the hat completely down to the felt, cleaned it and hit it with 700,015 00 grit sandpaper sewed in a leather sweat van reblocked it completely and then reshaped it.

I like the copper feather I added to it, but I'm not sold on a hat band. I think it should be olive or cream.
