I will be away for 3 weeks total in June and while my then 20 month old is in daycare full-time, my husband works long hours and we will need support in the evening/weekend hours and backup in case of illness.
I've been continuously tapping all my local mom chats and classifieds, but the combo of short stint/evening hours is proving tricky. We need more reliable, experienced help than a mother's helper type who often fill these evening childcare roles.
At this point I'm willing to pay to find the right person, as the travel is important professionally/personally. Any services that might be able to assist?
While most agencies are clearly geared to full-time placement, I can imagine summer might also mean some nannies in between roles or not working as families away.
Appreciate any thoughts/leads!
