Just bought my first house in Northeast Ohio and am looking for opinions on recessed lighting for the living room and possibly the rest of the house once I start remodeling with new paint and flooring.

Mainly trying to figure out:
-How many lights I should do
-Best layout/configuration
-Warm vs cool lighting
-Rough cost for the living room
-General cost opinions for doing more of the house later on

There is also a finished attic directly above the living room, so I’m unsure how much that changes difficulty or pricing.

Tenant is still in the house until the end of the month, so I cannot have contractors out yet, but I do have pictures and a walkthrough video. Just looking for ballpark opinions before moving forward.
