The second year of my IPM (BBA+MBA) from IIM Ranchi has just ended. You can exit after the BBA. The curriculum here is absolutely horrible. I've realised that I love mathematics and MBA is not for me.

I've studied the following math courses in my 2 years: Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis, Game Theory, Graph Theory, Programming in R.

The rest of the curriculum is filled with bad common-sense subjects like Critical thinking, social work, etc. I perform really well in all mathematical courses (usually in top 3) and I would love to pursue it for my master's. However, I'm from a commerce + applied math background and I don't know whether I'll be eligible for pure mathematics degrees. Preference is in India but could look into foreign colleges as well. I really believe that despite being a commerce and BBA student, I'll be able to catch up with others in a proper, pure math degree. Do I have any options? Or will I have to continue and get my MBA from IIMR (guaranteed placement)? Will have to finance my degree using loans.

myquals: 85% in 10th, 95% in 12th (Commerce+ Applied Math CBSE), 75% in my BBA till second year
