Hey guys👋

I'm Vish, co-founder at Auraa* — a strategy-led digital marketing agency based here in Vizag. We work with brands across F&B, healthcare, real estate, travel, and interiors, mixing local and pan-India clients. You can see some of our work at auraa.digital.

We're hiring two full-time roles at our Vizag office:

1. Social Media Strategist

  • 2–5 years of experience; agency background strongly preferred
  • Owns content calendars across multiple clients, presents decks, briefs the creative team, runs monthly reporting
  • Acts as primary client point of contact for social

2. Creative Graphic Designer

  • 2+ years of experience
  • Portfolio must show both branding (logos, identity, print collaterals) and social/motion (reels, shorts, animated posts)
  • Adobe Suite + Figma + a mobile editor like CapCut
  • Comfortable using AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, etc.) as part of the workflow

Both roles are in-person in Vizag, with some hybrid flexibility for the right person. We're a small, growing team — you'd be working directly with the founders, not lost in a hierarchy. Salary will be discussed based on experience and fit.

Interested? DM me for the detailed JD, salary band, and any questions you have. Happy to chat.

Hi r/Vizag,

I'm Vish — from here, Outside of my day job, I've been thinking seriously about opening a small café in Vizag. The rough idea is coffee-first, fresh bakes that change every week, room to sit and not be rushed. Nothing fancy.

Before I commit any money to it, I want to actually hear from people who live here and visit cafés. The version of the customer in my head is probably wrong in ways I can't see, and I'd rather find that out now than after signing a lease.

I put together a short anonymous survey — about 5 minutes, no name or email required. If you have the time, it'd genuinely help me build something that fits Vizag instead of something I imagined fits Vizag.

If filling a form isn't your thing, I'd love to hear in the comments instead — what do you wish was different about cafés in this city? What's a place, here or anywhere, you actually loved sitting in, and why?

Mods, if this breaks any sub rules let me know and I'll take it down. Not selling anything, not promoting a brand, just trying to learn before I build.

Thanks for reading this far.
