Window screen suggestions?
I recently moved into a 100 year old home. My home office has some gorgeous, tall cantilever windows along one side as well as a smaller cantilever window on the adjacent wall.
None of these windows have screens and this house is not vented for AC. I'd like to at least get a screen and open the side window for some cross ventilation as the weather gets warmer. There are no channels in the window frame (pic attached). I attempted to order a custom screen but was told by the company that these windows weren't made for use with screens.
I've looked at the screens on Amazon that attach either with velcro/adhesive or magnetic strips. I don't love either option, so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions that might work better. This window is an odd size (opening is 34.5 x 33.5) so it wouldn't fit a traditional screen (which evidently I couldn't use anyhow).
