I have recently started exploring the market for Senior QA / Test Automation roles. I have 10+ years of experience across both manual and automation testing.
current package is above $160k + bonus (inc super), so trying to understand what salary range is realistic to ask in the current market.

For people working in QA/Automation hiring or similar roles:

What range are you seeing for strong Senior QA engineers with Playwright/API experience?
Is $170k+ realistic outside big banks/fintech?
Does domain experience significantly increase salary?

Would love to hear real market insights before I start negotiating/applying seriously.
