I have about $27k in total credit card debt, I pay on time every single month (never a late payment) but the high interest is killing me....I realized I was a "grief spender' and have finally used counseling to see that. I'm ready to get this debt taken care of. I've started by paying a few hundred extra per credit card (I have 2 with balances) per month but I feel like I'm not making a lot of progress. Would a debt consolidation be best? Keep doing what I'm doing?
