Used to have it set up where you needed a pin to access the app every time you open.

Just updated to an iPhone 17 and when I go into the app settings - security > PIN & Face ID the option to “require pin to open app (required)” is greyed out. It doesn’t let me toggle on.

I had my last phone for easily 10 years so can’t remember if I’m missing a step somewhere. Any help? Thanks

One the main reasons I finally updated from my beloved 13 mini was because the phone became so hot it was basically unusable. Two days with my new iPhone 17 and the thing is burning up when writing an email.

I’m inside. In ac. So don’t want to hear the nonsense of oh are you outside in the sun.
